While the X5Max is Vivo's flagship smartphone, it is the X Shot that will get most of the attention among the users due to its specs and price. The X Shot comes with the kind of specs that are sported by many flagship smartphones today but it costs way less than them. The cost difference is not as much as that which was created by Xiaomi Mi-3 but is still considerable. Is it worth the money it retails for?
Let's talk specs
The Vivo X Shot runs on Android 4.3.2 Jelly Bean and sports 4G capabilities as well. A 2.26GHz quad-core processor, along with 2GB RAM, can be found on the X Shot. There is a 5-inch screen on Vivo X Shot and it puts out display resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The X Shot sports 16GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB and for this purpose, there is a microSD card slot on the smartphone as well. A 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel camera on front can be found on the Vivo X Shot. A 2600mAh battery powers the X Shot but no performance ratings are available for the same.
Let's talk about buying one
Among all the smartphones that Vivo has launched, the X5Max and X Shot are the ones that matter. While the X5Max relies on its slim profile to sell, the X Shot has nothing in particular that can be called its X factor. But the X Shot does not need any gimmicks as it is a great device in its totality. The package is further complemented by the price that Vivo charges for it. One device it closely resembles in this regard is the LG Google Nexus 5. The LG Google Nexus 5 was never the best of propositions until its price was slashed. The X Shot can fill the void left by LG Google Nexus 5 and it should be able to see decent success, if not great. A smartphone worth recommending is the X Shot.
