Nokia C1 Latest Updates

The latest Nokia C1 concept design leaked on Weibo suggests that the phone with a very high screen to body ratio will have a powerful Snapdragon 830 Processor and 4GB RAM. The renders show an impressive Dual Camera with 12MP + 16MP sensor combinations, 5MP Selfie Camera, Xenon Flash with Triple LED, USP Type-C port and a decent 3210 mAh Battery. The model running on Android 7.1 Nougat will come in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options.

Great news for Nokia fans as the company has officially confirmed that they are coming back with Smartphones in 2017.

For those of us who thought that since Microsoft has acquired the mobile division of Nokia, the brand has ceased to exist, we could not be any more wrong. The Finnish handset maker launched its first ever Nokia branded Android tablet called Nokia N1 in November 2014. Now the speculations are riff that Nokia is working on an Android smartphone as well and recently few leaked images surfaced on the World Wide Web, which confirmed the speculations. The device is being called Nokia C1 and here is a brief overview of the handset.

Why Should You buy?

Gesture based Z Launcher: It is to be expected that the new handset from Nokia would come with the same launcher and interface that was seen in the Nokia N1. This launcher is a unique take of Nokia on Android and comes with gesture support. Users can draw pattern on the display to launch certain apps or perform certain tasks.

Intel Atom processor: It is expected that the all new Nokia handset would come featuring an Intel Atom processor. While, no other dteail about the processor is known yet, we can expect the handset to be a decent performing device. In all likelihood, the processor would be a Quad-core unit with a clock speed in the range of 1.5-1.8 GHz. Moreover, it is expected that it will feature 1 GB of RAM for a consistency in performance.

Latest Android: As and when the handset comes out, it is expected to feature the latest Android available at the moment. Since it is being speculated that the handset will come out in 2017, we can safely assume that it will have Android Nougat running on it.

Why Should You Not buy?

Not sure whether or not it will come: While this handset certainly looks quite promising and is one of the most awaited handset, there is no telling when this handset would be coming. Moreover, it is not even sure whether this handset will come out or not since Nokia has not said a word about the same.

Nokia C1 Expected release date is 7 Sep 2016. 

The details about the handset are yet to be confirmed by the brand, however, considering that it is a Nokia product it should be a good device. Even after taking all these rumours with a pinch of salt, we can suggest the handset to anyone who is looking for a sturdy handset with decent performance

Nokia has announced it lineup. There is Nokia 3,5 and 6 along with legendary Nokia 3310. Nokia C1 is not coming as it was just a speculated device.

Nokia has scheduled an event on February 26, 2017, where it is expected to announce its comeback lineup of smartphones. However, Nokia C1 is not going to be released, unfortunately. It was a speculated handset.

The hype around the Nokia devices is way too much but it is still not sure when the brand will make its comeback. It is expected that it will be anytime this year but not actually confirmed, when.

Nokia has just announced Nokia C6 as of now.
