Alleged live images of OnePlus 5 turn up on Internet

18th May, 2017 | 5166 views

OnePlus recently dropped a hint at the arrival of OnePlus 5 through a teaser that said Hello 5 and revealed that the device is around the corner. A couple of images have now turned up on the Chinese social media, showing the device live. These images show the device being charged through USB Type-C and the rear panel. If these pictures are indeed real, we now have a solid confirmation that the upcoming handset will come with a dual camera module on the rear panel. From the images, it is evident that the handset follows the same design line as OnePlus 3 and 3T with the exception of dual camera module on the rear panel. We can also see the metallic power and volume buttons along with the notification slider. Taking into account all leaks and renders, we can easily assume that the handset will be arriving by next month or so, at the max.

Speaking of the dual camera module, the one on OnePlus 5 is expected to be two different lens setup just like the one found on the Apple iPhone 7 Plus. This is true to the spirit of Flagship Killer tag that the brand associated with its handsets. Other than the dual camera module, this device will feature latest Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with a massive 6 GB of RAM, which is guaranteed to deliver a smooth and snappy performance. The device will come running on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box and have a near stock interface courtesy Oxygen OS. Other salient features of the handset have to be Dash Charging V 2.0, ceramic build quality and a killer price tag. It seems now, that we will not have to to wait for long before OnePlus 5 comes out in open.
